Well, as simple as "bougie can be. I try and remember to always draw from Lena Horne, Marlene Dietrich,Josephine Baker, & Billy Holiday - and always on a hood budget.
I'm a nerd. I am obnoxious and crude and sometimes I can even be an asshole. I'm a tomboy and a wannabe diva, I like playing in the dirt as much as I like playing dirty in my high heels. [Just don't want dirt ON my high heels]
I am a foreigner with big-city dreams and ridiculously high hopes. Just biding my time waiting for stardom here (smile). I went to school to make movies, to make films, to make people think. I'm a creator, a fashioner of comedies and dramas, telling all the stories of all the characters you never see.
At this point in my life I'm anxious. Every morning starts with me chasing down my dreams or a story- and every night ends with an attempt to tie them down, tuck them away for safe keeping.
